Whoopi Goldberg is down for discussing endless topics on The View
but one conversation she is clearly tired of is the one about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's divorce.
The 69-year-old EGOT winner introduced the topic herself on the Thursday, March 27,
episode of The View by reading off a card — one that co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin joked that they must have "snuck in" to purposely get Goldberg to read.
("You know I would never do this," the Sister Act star — who later slumped on the table in exasperation — quipped.)
As she read off the card — which pondered the idea of a "post-divorce glow-up"
prompted by a Bustle op-ed that discussed the writer's own experience intertwined with
J.Lo's own post-divorce moment — Goldberg appeared to grow increasingly agitated.
But that was nothing compared to the moment the rest of The View hosts started talking about Affleck and Lopez's split, specifically.
"No, you said it was true love," Goldberg responded, pointing at Hostin. "You're the only one who believed that!"
